Summary
Join Parsley Health as a Part-Time Social Media Manager and create engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms. You will be responsible for content creation, execution, and engagement, translating complex health topics into accessible formats. This role requires strong visual skills, copywriting abilities, and a deep understanding of social media trends. You will work closely with the CEO to manage her personal social presence. This is a 20-hour/week, 1099 contractor position with an hourly rate of $40. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in social media management, preferably in health, wellness, or a science-focused brand.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts, ideally in health, wellness, CPG, or a science-first brand
- Strong visual eye—comfortable creating graphics, Reels, TikToks, and editing video directly in-platform (InShot, CapCut, Canva, etc.)
- Ability to write crisp, engaging copy tailored to each channel and audience
- Obsessed with staying ahead of social trends, audio, hooks, and viral formats
- Highly self-directed—this role requires creative leadership, ownership, and speed
Responsibilities
- Own content creation, execution, and engagement on Instagram, TikTok, and other social channels for both Parsley Health and Dr. Robin Berzin
- Create high-quality, science-backed, conversion-driven content (graphics, copy, Reels, TikToks) with minimal reliance on external designers or copywriters
- Translate complex health topics into engaging, digestible social content that reflects the premium, science-first nature of our brand
- Develop and execute an experimentation roadmap designed for breakout growth—test new formats, partnerships, and platform features regularly
- Build smart, strategic relationships with influencers, partners, and creators to amplify reach and drive new member acquisition
- Engage daily with our audience—foster conversation, answer DMs/comments, and build community that drives toward conversion
- Report regularly on performance metrics, surface insights, and use data to refine strategy and content direction
