Summary

Join Affirm's Organizational Effectiveness (OD/OE) team as a dynamic innovator contributing to key initiatives and organizational culture. Partner with senior managers to address team needs, develop tools and resources, and implement strategies to enhance team effectiveness. Apply OD/OE expertise to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver impactful results. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in OD/OE within customer-oriented companies with a global workforce, or 3 years and a Master's degree, or a PhD. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in OD/OE in customer-oriented companies and with a global workforce; remote-first experience preferred (or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience)
  • Experience in designing and developing the tools, resources, and assets needed to support org effectiveness strategies being successful
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to distill complex information to what matters most. Simpler is better
  • A "how can we make this better?" mentality. You recognize that "perfect" is not an end state, and continually drive for improvement

Responsibilities

  • Seek to quickly build Affirm and OD/OE context, understanding the right questions to ask and seeking guidance to infill gaps, and through building partnership across the broader People + Org Success and broader People team
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager, OE and Manager, OE to contribute to key initiatives for Affirm - responding to team needs and ensuring we do the right work and the work right
  • Bring to life work aligned with the OE vision/strategy under Sr. Manager guidance, including putting pen to paper and taking ideas to action on the development of needed tools, materials, and assets. Takes ownership and initiative to drive work forward with speed and excellence
  • Apply OD/OE experience to identify opportunities and make recommendations that increase the effectiveness and impact of the team’s work
  • Takes accountability to deliver products that make a difference for Affirmers - completing work on time and with Affirmers at the center

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in HR functions preferred but not required (e.g. Talent Management, OD/OE, DEI, L&D, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Tech/Analytics, etc.)
