Requirements

  • A commitment to the mission and values of the Raspberry Pi Foundation
  • Experience of running events, workshops and training, ideally with educators and young people
  • A good understanding of the structure of the school systems in the UK, particularly in England and Scotland
  • Experience of working in partnership with a range of communities and organisations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to represent the Foundation externally, write clearly, and to build rapport with diverse audiences, including educators and young people
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and partners
  • Good organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable with technology, including office and productivity applications (we use Google Workspace)
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the UK
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver inspiring and engaging online and in-person events across the UK, including teacher training and student-facing workshops
  • Develop and implement outreach campaigns that engage schools, teachers, and young people, with a particular focus on those who come from backgrounds that are underrepresented in the technology sector
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including schools, universities, industry partners, and community organisations
  • Identify and develop new partnerships that can grow the reach and impact the Foundation’s educational products
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Communications teams so that outreach and events showcase our products and resources effectively
  • Monitor and report on the impact of outreach and events, using both qualitative and quantitative data including participant feedback to improve the effectiveness of activities over time
