We are seeking a Legal Assistant to conduct legal research, draft and review contracts, manage legal files, ensure compliance, liaise with external counsel, assist in court document preparation, maintain accurate records, and perform ad-hoc tasks. This is a remote position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field, at least two years of experience as a legal assistant, and strong legal research and writing skills. Familiarity with US, EU, AU, and/or UK legal systems is preferred. This role requires proficiency in legal research platforms and document management tools. The position is exclusively for Filipino candidates and requires adherence to US work hours.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Law, Legal Management, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role
- Familiarity with US, EU, AU, and/or UK legal systems and regulations
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Reading: High quality for legal documents
- Writing: High quality for contracts and legal correspondence
- Speaking: Neutral accent for effective communication with clients and legal teams
- Proficient in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and document management tools
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks with strict deadlines
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of legal tech tools, cloud-based systems, and document automation software

Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents
- Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal correspondence in compliance with US, EU, AU, and UK laws
- Manage and organise legal files, contracts, and case documentation in digital and physical formats
- Monitor and ensure compliance with filing deadlines and legal requirements in multiple jurisdictions
- Coordinate and liaise with external counsel and regulatory bodies as needed
- Assist in the preparation of court documents, filings, and pleadings
- Maintain accurate records of correspondence and legal activity for reporting purposes
- Ad hoc tasks as needed to support the legal team
