Requirements
- Associateβs Degree required
- 3+ years experience as a paralegal in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a collegial, fast-paced team environment
- Work independently and exercise strong judgment when executing an assigned task
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management and external parties
- Mastery of Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong understanding of the use of technology in legal operations
- Superior ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an efficient and timely manner
- Meet tight deadlines and comfortably operate in the face of time constraints
- Identify and effectively escalate potential issues to appropriate persons
- Persistently follow-up with colleagues to ensure that appropriate information is obtained and timely recorded
- Experience managing projects that require coordination of high volumes of deliverables across multiple departments
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with commercial contract review and negotiation
- Coordinate contract intake, management, and finalization processes, including by working closely with our Business, Procurement, and Digital Experience teams and using our contract management system
- Assist with organizing and managing our commercial contracts and template agreements
- Assist with administrative tasks like coordinating meetings, tracking projects, drafting emails, etc
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal training/experience strongly preferred via one of the following: (1) Graduate of an American Bar Association (ABA)-approved paralegal studies program; (2) Graduate of a non-ABA-approved paralegal studies program at an accredited institution, or (3) Bachelor's degree in any subject plus two years of attorney-supervised paralegal work and 15 hours of continuing legal education each year
- Prior experience with or exposure to healthcare regulatory matters highly preferred
