Part Time Senior Operations Manager

Join our client's team as a Senior Operations and Capacity Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure resource optimization, and drive operational excellence in a part-time contract role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in operations management, capacity planning, or a similar role, preferably in a lean environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Proficiency in using operations and capacity management software and tools
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational workflows and reduce costs
• Lead and motivate a small team to achieve high levels of productivity and quality
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and industry standards
• Analyze current capacity and forecast future needs based on business growth and market trends
• Develop and maintain capacity plans to ensure that resources, including staff, equipment, and facilities, are sufficient to meet demand
• Allocate resources effectively to balance supply and demand, avoiding bottlenecks and underutilization
• Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
• Implement lean management principles to streamline workflows and eliminate non-value-added activities
• Lead initiatives to improve the company’s operational performance and support scalability
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to both operations and capacity
• Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, capacity utilization, and forecasting accuracy
• Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
• Identify potential operational and capacity-related risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them
• Ensure business continuity by proactively addressing any issues that could impact operations or resource availability
