Summary
Join Deel's Global Corporate Services team and oversee all aspects of corporate services for our global corporate needs. Manage internal and external incorporation processes, various licenses, permits, resident directors, and registered addresses across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires proactive process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining partner relationships. Provide practical advice on corporate structure and compliance matters. The role demands a broad global knowledge and the ability to quickly learn new jurisdictions. This is a global role with responsibilities including project management, compliance management, strategic leadership, team leadership, process improvement, and document management.
Requirements
- 6 years plus of proven experience in relevant areas including solid understanding of legal corporate and global services, including incorporation, licences, permits, and related compliance matters across diverse jurisdictions
- Bachelor's degree in law, corporate administration or related field
- General understanding of corporate and commercial legal matters across various jurisdictions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset, capable of driving initiatives independently and supporting or leading a geographically dispersed team
- Ability to improve and streamline processes and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Project manage entity incorporations globally by working cross-functionally with teams such as, Expansion Ops, Treasury and Legal. This responsibility involves managing partner relationships and overseeing maintenance of the entity following incorporation, ensuring efficient and compliant operations
- Manage legal compliance and corporate governance by coordinating with stakeholders including Finance Ops team, Mobility team, Tax team, and the Business Operations team on projects regarding global payroll and mobility compliance with company practices and local requirements
- Responsible for establishing and building new product launches and internal management systems for cost management, entities registrations/maintenance and commercial projects
- Lead and support junior team members on global services, corporate matters and operational efficiency, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance service delivery, and optimise operational efficiency
- Work with complex and practice-specific legal and governance documents, forms, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times
- Manage, organise and accurately maintain physical and electronic documents and files in an efficient and timely manner for all entities
