Summary

Join Shippo, the shipping layer of the internet, as a Partner Marketing Manager to drive user acquisition and revenue through various partnership channels. You will develop, manage, and optimize referral and affiliate programs, build relationships with service partners and app integrators, execute co-marketing initiatives, and support influencer marketing efforts. This role requires cross-functional collaboration to create strategies leveraging partnerships to accelerate Shippo's growth. You will be responsible for managing and scaling affiliate marketing programs, identifying and executing co-marketing opportunities, and leading influencer marketing efforts. The position demands strong analytical skills to monitor and report on program performance, providing insights for optimization. Shippo offers a remote-first program, allowing for flexibility in work location.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, or business development with a focus on referral and affiliate programs
  • Strong track record of building and nurturing successful business relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience designing, launching, and scaling partner marketing programs that deliver measurable results
  • Ability to analyze program performance data, derive insights, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively represent Shippo to external partners
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple partnership initiatives simultaneously
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key service partners and app integrators within the Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, and other e-commerce platforms' ecosystems to drive referrals to Shippo
  • Develop, implement, and optimize the referral program strategy to drive user acquisition and revenue growth through customer advocacy
  • Manage and scale our affiliate marketing program, including partner recruitment, onboarding, relationship management, performance tracking, and optimization
  • Identify and execute co-marketing opportunities with strategic partners, including content creation, webinars, events, and promotional campaigns that drive mutual value
  • Lead Influencer Marketing efforts to identify, engage, and manage relationships with relevant influencers in the e-commerce and shipping space
  • Analyze partner marketing channel potential and develop strategies to maximize growth and revenue from existing and new partnership opportunities
  • Monitor and report on partner marketing program performance, providing insights and recommendations for continued optimization
