Join GiveDirectly's Fundraising team as a Global Partnerships Associate and contribute to achieving revenue goals through strategic partnerships with global foundations, institutions, and corporations. You will support proposal development, create engaging content, optimize internal systems, and conduct research to identify new funding opportunities. This fully remote role requires strong writing skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and experience in project coordination. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and manage various tools and databases to enhance team efficiency and impact. Requirements

- Language Requirement: Professional working proficiency in English
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail for copyediting

- Ability to conduct research and analyze information critically
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage internal stakeholders and work cross-functionally

- Proven track record of developing and managing new systems and processes that improve team organization and productivity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of other content management systems, intranets, and portals; Google Enterprise preferred
- Must be able to travel approx. 2-3 times per year to one of our countries of operation for team retreats or field visits
Responsibilities
- Provide direct proposal support to Partnerships Managers, coordinating and executing proposal-related tasks as assigned
- Prepare internal funding alert memos, proposal workbooks and calendars, and set-up core proposal development resources such as Slack channels and kick-off calls
- Copyedit and rewrite content developed by others as needed
- Conduct research as required on opportunity information, competitive landscape, and GiveDirectly capabilities/capacity, and translate findings into actionable analyses
- Write and revise proposal content that is compelling and in compliance with solicitation requirements, as assigned (e.g. context setting; capacity statement expressions of interest; concept notes; options notes; organizational capability; etc.)
- Participate in proposal review sessions, capturing feedback, making recommendations, and executing necessary revisions
- Create templates, guides and other resources that enhance the proposal development process
- Prepare high quality, brand-accurate content for external meetings and presentations, including customized pitch decks, capacity statements, project one-pagers, evidence summaries, etc
- Develop a system for producing, organizing and storing collateral and ensure its regular maintenance and updates
- Oversee proposal and content libraries, ensuring all documentation is accurate and regularly updated
- Proactively monitor key institutional donor portals and research funding opportunities, analyzing and sharing findings with the Global Partnerships team
- Attend webinars, panel discussions, virtual conferences, etc. summarizing and disseminating key findings
- Monitor industry news and collect information on emerging market trends, new business opportunities, and competitors to compile and present a voiceover to the team
- Develop and maintain a system for tracking and documenting go / no-go decisions on funding opportunities, and the strategic priorities and programmatic footprint of current and future partners/funders
- Actively participate in workshops and trainings to strengthen skills and industry knowledge
- Manage the Partnerships Engagement Tracker via Salesforce for designated countries, ensuring timely updates and alerting teams for necessary follow up
- Copyedit program reports drafted by country teams for ongoing grant agreements, and ensuring alignment with funder reporting requirements specified in the grant agreement
- Draft and maintain job aids, as needed, related to opportunity sourcing, proposal development, and knowledge management systems and processes
- Perform other duties as required
Preferred Qualifications
- International project management, fundraising, or community-based programming experience is a plus
- Basic graphic design skills or experience leveraging Artificial Intelligence writing technologiesโฏare a plus
