Summary

Join our team as a Patient Care Navigator and ensure a seamless and positive treatment journey for patients while optimizing clinician workflow and maintaining compliance. This role blends patient guidance, telehealth platform management, and exceptional customer service with process development and quality assurance. You will guide patients through treatment, triage inquiries, deliver high-quality customer service, manage telehealth platforms, develop SOPs, maintain HIPAA compliance, coordinate care, and drive operational improvements. The position requires experience with EHR systems and telehealth platforms, knowledge of HIPAA, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Requirements

  • Be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have experience with EHR systems and telehealth platforms
  • Have previous experience as a Care Manager or Care Navigator
  • Have knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements
  • Have a reliable, high-speed internet connection
  • Be available to work within a time zone compatible with the core team's hours
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health)

Responsibilities

  • Guide patients through their treatment, ensuring clarity and support at every step
  • Use sound judgment to triage patient inquiries, escalating clinician-critical concerns while managing routine issues independently
  • Deliver detail-oriented, high-quality customer service, ensuring all interactions and documentation meet meticulous standards
  • Efficiently oversee telehealth platforms for both asynchronous and synchronous communication
  • Create, implement, and maintain SOPs to streamline customer care processes and improve efficiency
  • Uphold rigorous standards of patient privacy and data handling in accordance with HIPAA
  • Act as a liaison among patients, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and care delivery
  • Monitor service quality, identify areas for enhancement, and provide insights to drive operational improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience working remotely
  • Have a background in customer service or patient care within the healthcare industry
  • Have familiarity with mold-related illnesses or environmental health issues
  • Have experience in creating and implementing SOPs
  • Have certification in customer service management or healthcare administration
