Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in health payor contracting, contract management, or provider relations—preferably within a telehealth/healthcare organization or health plan
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Deep understanding of health insurance policies, healthcare reimbursement, regulatory requirements, and provider credentialing
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to assess financial impacts, track contract milestones, and analyze contract performance
• Experience managing complex contracts, resolving issues, and optimizing contract terms across multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of payor contract management— from negotiation to compliance
• Collaborate with finance, billing, and clinical teams to drive successful contract implementation and execution
• Build and nurture strong relationships with health payors to resolve disputes and optimize terms
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, contract milestones, and deadlines
• Drive strategic initiatives to secure favorable contract terms and ongoing renewals
• Contribute to the organization's strategic and financial goals by securing optimal contract terms with payors
• Mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance across all payor contracts
• Support financial and operational objectives by streamlining contract management processes and working across departments to ensure smooth contract execution
• Enhance payer relationships and improve contract performance, driving better reimbursement rates and reducing disputes

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Certified Healthcare Contract Manager)
