Summary

Join Shields Health Solutions' Clinical Analytics Team as a Clinical Analyst and contribute to expanding access to specialty pharmacy services for numerous patients. Reporting to the Manager of Clinical Analytics, you will play a key role in payor contracting initiatives. This position requires developing and implementing operational and clinical reports, managing quarterly payor planning, maintaining database objects and Python processes, and optimizing reporting processes. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and Excel, and a collaborative spirit. Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree
  • Have 2+ years of experience working with healthcare data
  • Possess proficiency in SQL (preferably PostgreSQL) and Microsoft Excel
  • Be organized, possess high integrity, attention to detail, dependability, quality focus, empathy, and good listening/communication skills
  • Be energetic, highly motivated, a team player with strong personal and communication skills; discretion and confidentiality are essential as the position deals with highly sensitive and private data

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational and clinical reports in cooperation with the Payor Contracting Team
  • Manage quarterly payor planning initiatives and communication between the Clinical Analytics Team, the Payor Contracting Team, and other partner teams as needed
  • Maintain a suite of database objects and scheduled Python processes to ensure accurate and timely production of critical reporting
  • Actively participate in optimization of reporting processes, communication plans, standard operating procedures, and documentation methods to ensure efficient reporting operations
  • Approach tasks with a proactive, customer-focused, and process-oriented mindset
  • Collaborate with teammates to develop institutional knowledge and expertise in technical best practices
  • Support Analytics workstreams within the organization as needed
  • Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential
