You will work with Engineering, Product, and Payroll teams to solve complex problems and continuously learn new skills. Requirements
- Experience in payroll process analysis or process automation
- Skilled in utilising Excel and Google Sheets formulas to perform calculations, analyse data, and automate tasks
- Expert level, leveraging full-stack engineering to deliver limited but well-rounded solutions in short periods of time
- Proficiency in SQL and Cloud computing platforms like AWS or GCP
- Good decision-making skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills for clear articulation of business requirements and outcomes
Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing business processes and performance metrics data to identify potential opportunities and benefits
- Develop, test, and deploy automation solutions across Payroll processes
- Contribute to the creation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for automating manual processes to improve efficiency and support business growth
- Participate in post-implementation performance reviews, analyzing if adjustments are needed and ensuring projects deliver against KPIs
- Help deploy process improvements, finding minimal solutions to problems
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Payroll teams to develop solutions for complex problems
- Continuously learn and share new skills, tools, technologies and utilize them to unlock new challenges and opportunities at Remote
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, aiding in the implementation of solutions, coordinating action plans, setting timelines, and prioritizing tasks for successful project delivery
- Identify and propose change management or training needs for automation projects delivered
Preferred Qualifications
- Python knowledge is a plus
- It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus
