Requirements
- Knowledge of Global Payroll and Global HR Operations: Expertise in payroll processes and compliance across multiple regions, particularly the US and EMEA countries, including Portugal
- Process Building and Scaling Expertise: A track record of designing, implementing, and optimizing payroll and people operations workflows and systems to support growth and scalability
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, ensuring clarity and alignment across global teams
- Capability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and completeness in all operational processes
- Ability to work collaboratively across an organization: you are a team player with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to protect confidential and proprietary information, setting professional boundaries as needed
Responsibilities
- Execute and manage global payroll processes, ensuring compliance with local tax, labor, and regulatory requirements
- Ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness across multiple regions (e.g., Portugal, UK, USA, Australia, Germany)
- Collaborate with regional teams to align payroll policies with local laws and regulations
- Oversee benefits administration, employee records management, and HR systems to deliver efficient and effective PX services
- Act as a point of contact for PX-related employee inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions
- Respond to employee inquiries about benefits programs and resolve issues effectively
- Coordinate and support global mobility processes, including visa applications and relocation packages
- Ensure employees relocating between regions are compliant with immigration regulations
- Automate and streamline immigration documentation and tracking
- Partners with the teams evolved to align mobility strategies with organizational goals
- Continuously improve payroll, benefits, and mobility workflows to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Ensure all PX operations comply with regional and global regulations
- Work closely with PX team members, Legal, IT, and Finance to streamline operational processes and maintain alignment with organizational objectives
