Reporting to the Director of Payroll, you will play a key role in onboarding and training clients on our SaaS and outsourced payroll platform. You will collaborate with various teams, including sales, implementation, and product, to ensure successful client implementations and process improvements. This role requires deep UK payroll knowledge, experience managing payroll implementation projects, and strong communication skills. Requirements
- Start up mentality, drive to help build a solid payroll service while disrupting traditional offerings and processes
- Working knowledge and understanding of processing UK payrolls, end to end
- 3+ years proven experience managing successful Payroll system implementation projects, preferably alongside an HR/WFM platform integration within a bureau/outsourced environment
- Deep understanding of UK payroll legislation is essential
- Intermediate to Advanced user of Microsoft excel and/or Google sheets, confident with SUM, VLOOKUP, PIVOT, CONCATENATE, etc
- Understanding of Information Security quality standards and GDPR compliance
- Occasional travel will be required to UK client sites and the London office
- Strong communicator with the ability to build effective business relationships

- Strong commercial awareness and ownership of tasks
- Action-oriented, tackling tasks promptly and constructively challenging processes for improvement
Responsibilities
- Carry out end to end payroll implementations, from kick off, data gathering, system configuration, validation, testing to go live and BAU
- Work alongside Enterprise Implementation Managers and Solution Architects to create client facing Solution Design Documents during the implementation process
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and take ownership to see the improvement come to fruition
- Meet with prospective clients alongside the sales team, explaining the service offering for both SaaS payroll and outsourced payroll services
- Adapt to a rapidly developing HR and WFM platform that feeds payroll
Preferred Qualifications
CIPP (or equivalent) qualification (or working towards a qualification) is desirable but not essential
