Requirements

  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll and benefits management, preferably in a global company
  • Proficiency with payroll software and systems (Dayforce/Powerpay, NetSuite)
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and benefits administration
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Language Proficiency: Fully bilingual in French and English

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process payroll for all employees across multiple regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee compliance with local, state, and international payroll regulations and tax laws, leveraging Velocity and Deel to manage international employees effectively
  • Maintain and update employee records related to payroll, benefits, and tax filings
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company offerings
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
  • Collaborate with the finance team for accurate reporting, audits, and reconciliations
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll and benefits regulations, ensuring company compliance
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve payroll and benefits processes
  • Support HR initiatives and projects as needed
