Requirements
- Experience managing payroll for approximately 70 employees and external contractors
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and advanced payroll software
- Familiarity with Australian payroll regulations and compliance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and numeracy skills, with attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Ensure payroll systems are accurately set up and maintained
- Process payroll by the 15th of each month, including backpays, new starters, terminations, and bonus payments
- Verify all approved and pending leave requests
- Handle payroll queries and sync payslips to the Employment Hero system
- Manage tax adjustments and lodge relevant documents with the ATO (Australian Taxation Office)
- Reconcile payroll data and provide reports for audits when necessary
- Manage superannuation funds and process quarterly payments
