Join Alo Yoga as their Payroll & Benefits Support Specialist and play a pivotal role in managing payroll operations and benefit activities, ensuring accurate and efficient processing in line with regulations and company policies. This full-time, indefinite-term position involves monthly payroll processing, employee inquiry management, employee change management, and reporting. You will collaborate with the UK HR team, payroll providers (like ADP), and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include planning optimal payroll cadences, processing payroll files, addressing employee inquiries, managing system configurations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting with annual reporting. The role requires proven experience in payroll processing and benefits support, familiarity with payroll software, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and knowledge of Italian payroll regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in payroll processing and benefit support roles
- Familiarity with payroll software (e.g., ADP) and HR information systems

- Knowledge of Italian payroll regulations and compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the UK HR, benefits, and payroll teams to determine and implement optimal payroll cadences and pay periods
- Compile and upload monthly payroll bulk files, including hours worked, absences, bonuses, etc
- Upload supporting documents for payroll processing, such as new joiner and Sick Pay notes
- Address queries related to payroll file completion and ensure the accuracy of payroll submissions
- Conduct pre-commit reviews, audits, and obtain necessary approvals before final payroll commits
- Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related inquiries from employees, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Identify and collaborate with payroll analyst to resolve system configuration errors across various platforms (e.g., Workforce Now, Celergo, ConnectTeam, Legion)
- Manage timeclock setups for new stores and update systems with new joiner information, leave types, and annual leave balances
- Ensure compliance with local legal requirements, including the processing of relevant letters and payments
- Request access and manage to completion
- Reset passwords for payslip access as needed
- Alert Alo Payroll Analyst on new account configurations requirements and updates
- File and maintain payroll reports
- Assist in the annual preparation of P11Ds and PSAs
- Process wire transfer requests and address any questions or errors during monthly audits with Accounts Payable
