Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of related experience
- High School diploma
- Computer Skills; Microsoft Office product, especially Excel
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) and/or PEO experience
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities; expertise in building and maintaining business relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Responsibilities
- Process and deliver customer payrolls, garnishments, employee maintenance, timesheet consolidation in a timely and accurate manner
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and provide services according to the Bureau Service Definition and Service Level Agreements
- Address and resolve complex payroll issues
- Ensure adherence to intricate payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Conduct detailed audits to identify and correct errors or discrepancies in payroll data
- Generate detailed payroll reports and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations
- Perform special payroll-related projects such as system upgrades, process improvements, or policy changes
- Manage escalated employee issues or concerns that require deeper investigation and resolution
