Requirements
- 4-6 years direct experience
- Payroll Tax and supporting multi-state payroll
- Project Management experience
- Extensive background within Payroll Systems β configuration and programming experience, new customer onboarding, - must be able to understand technical projects
- People leadership experience
- Strong Kronos knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical and problem skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to make payroll decisions and provide guidance to employees
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, motivate, and coach a team to achieve high performance and professional growth
- Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams to drive alignment, foster collaboration, and achieve shared goals
- Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
Responsibilities
- Oversees systems aspects for payroll and timekeeping β including process re-imagination, acquisitions, systems enablement and implementation and systems integrations, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legislation
- Partners with the Payroll team to access business requirements (define scope, create estimates, produce program documentation needed for funding approvals) and translate business needs into systems needs, architectural requirements and implementation/execution plans
- Prioritizes competing payroll technology projects, partnering with Payroll Director and team to create roadmap for technology implementation
- Manages relationships with HRIS, Legal, PLD, Finance, Field, and other stakeholders to ensure integrations from Workday into the Kronos and Payroll system are resulting in a high standard of data integrity to ensure compliant accurate payrolls
- Lead the execution and delivery of technology solutions and projects from start to finish, including requirements definition, process mapping, project creation, testing planning and execution, integration requirements, data migration requirements and cutover activities to successfully launch the project or product- for ADP Vantage and Kronos Timekeeping
- Provide high quality customer service and communicate project/program status (timelines, progress, and challenges) to technology, systems and business stakeholders regularly
- Lead, coach and develop team of direct reports, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Effectively use planning tools such as Jira to develop documents and to provide a clear vision for scope, use cases, workflows, wireframes, product requirements, acceptance criteria, and other materials as needed to support technical design, development, and QA activities while implementing new technology, i.e. ServiceNow and RFP results for new payroll and timekeeping technology
- Provide domain thought leadership in the Payroll and Timekeeping technology landscape, by challenging current thinking and providing practical and innovative systems solutions to solve frictions in end to end payroll and timekeeping processes
- Supports the Payroll function with creative solutions and new applications that promote efficiency, effectiveness and new thinking in payroll and timekeeping support
- Performs other duties as assigned
