Summary

Join our team as a Payroll Tax Compliance Analyst and play a crucial role in ensuring proactive, timely, and accurate regulatory compliance within our payroll operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and communicating payroll and tax filing regulatory updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll compliance, tax filing compliance, or a similar role
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements in an easy-to-understand manner
  • Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and work independently

Responsibilities

  • Proactively research and interpret payroll and tax filing compliance requirements across the U.S., providing timely analysis and updates to stakeholders
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of payroll tax regulations and tax filing updates, ensuring compliance with evolving requirements
  • Establish strong working relationships with governmental agencies and vendors to facilitate compliance efforts
  • Engage with customers to provide understanding of how BambooHR’s systems deliver compliance, as well as offer easy-to-understand explanations of compliance rules and obligations
  • Assess the priority of compliance changes in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor and liaison with stakeholders
  • Train and educate stakeholders on the implications of regulatory changes
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation processes for tracking, prioritizing, and reporting on compliance changes

Preferred Qualifications

  • FPC/CPP certifications are preferred
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a trusted advisor on compliance matters
  • A proactive, self-driven approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to staying current with ever-evolving payroll tax regulations
