Pair Team
Summary
Join Pair Team as their People Business Partner and support the employee experience of their Care Team while building foundations within the People team. You will champion Pair Team's culture and values, fostering a psychologically safe work environment. Partnering with the COO, Care Team leaders, and People Team, you will advise on best practices to ensure fulfilling employee experiences. This fully remote position reports to the Senior Manager, People and involves nurturing and building scalable People processes and systems. You will coach Care Team managers, manage employee relations, assist with organizational design, implement change management strategies, and run employee processes. This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices and a passion for supporting employees in a fast-growing health-tech environment.
Requirements
- 4+ years as a People/HR BP, preferably with experience at fast-growing health-tech or health-adjacent companies
- Experience working with large, non-exempt employee populations
- Passion and proven success coaching and supporting new managers in a diverse workforce
- Team-player and able to flex as needed to support Care Team support and People Team initiatives
- Passionate about supporting employees to do their best work
- Strong communicator and able to easily build trust and rapport with stakeholders
- Mission-driven and passionate about helping marginalized communities
- Experience gaining trust and building strong working relationships with diverse team members and organization leaders
- Proven ability to use metrics-driven approaches to solve complex people problems
- Strong program management skills, proven ability to design clear and efficient processes, and a very detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving
- Highly organized and self-motivated to work successfully in a remote environment
- Able to work 9am - 5:30pm PST Monday-Friday
Responsibilities
- Partner with and coach Care Team managers as a support with performance management, retention, engagement and overall team success
- Manage and improve our employee relations and People processes so that Pair Team team members feel supported and valued by the organization
- Assist divisions in organizational design activities to streamline and implement new organization structures, roles, and/or processes that create speed & efficiency and support rapidly shifting business demands
- Assist in the development and implementation of change management strategies to support the evolution of the business and achieve sustainable business results
- Run thoughtful and strong employee processes with leaders at a variety of levels, such as performance & compensation reviews, talent management, employee engagement, etc
- Manage end to end leave of absence processes
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, and rules as a means of best practice
- Have influence on shaping the culture of a fast-growing team
