Summary

Join Constructor as a People Operations Associate and support key operational activities within the people and talent function. You will help support the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee events. This role requires attention to detail, process, and compliance. You will maintain systems, ensure seamless operations, and contribute to a welcoming experience for new hires. The position offers room for growth and the chance to make a real impact. Constructor powers product search and discovery for major retailers, offering a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is a remote role ideally based in EST or a country with significant overlap with US time zones.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • Former internship or administrative experience
  • Interest in People Operations sectors that relate to recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee engagement, and project management
  • Familiarity with hiring practices and stages
  • Experience using a variety of tools for project management
  • Experience with Gsuite, Slack, HRIS, and ATS tools
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at the same time, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Prepare and deliver structured presentations that effectively communicate key information to a variety of audiences

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for recruiting activities such as scheduling candidate interviews, drafting communication materials, and setting up new roles in our ATS
  • Assist Talent team with maintaining our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Process aspects of the onboarding process, including background checks, employment verification, completing I-9 forms and E-verify
  • Co-lead new team member orientation presentations as needed
  • Support People Ops reporting needs and ad hoc requests
  • SOP and workflow documentation: Ensure that established processes and documentation is created and updated regularly
  • Ensures that federal and state regulations are met, in the areas of recruitment and onboarding such as handbook and policy acknowledgement
  • Support and celebrate team members, their birthdays, anniversaries, sends swag, backs recognition programs, and more
  • Assists with planning and administration of special events both virtual and in person
  • Independently drive other projects and tasks within People Operations to support the employee lifecycle
  • Maintains strict confidentiality on all people matters
  • Provide overall administrative support to the People team
  • Performs duties to support the mission, vision and values of Constructor

  • Ability to take initiative and adapt quickly in a fast paced environment
