Summary
Join Finalis as a People Operations Sr. Analyst and play a critical role in optimizing HR functions using data analytics and ensuring efficient payroll operations. This position requires HR expertise, analytical skills, and payroll management experience. You will manage HRIS systems, serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, collaborate on HR initiatives, analyze HR metrics, develop reports, and oversee payroll processing. You will report to the Head of People and contribute to data-driven decision-making and operational excellence. The role demands a blend of HR, analytical, and payroll management skills to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely compensation disbursement. This is a fully remote position.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR operations, data analysis, and payroll management
- Advanced skills in data analysis tools such as Excel/Google Sheets
- Thorough understanding of US labor laws and employee benefits regulations, including HSA, FSA, healthcare, 401(k) and related programs, to ensure compliance and effective benefits administration
- Strong understanding of HR metrics and data quality principles
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Effective communication abilities, with experience presenting data insights to senior leadership
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain HRIS systems to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency
- Serve as a point of contact for Finalists inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives and programs
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and provide insights that inform strategic decisions
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to workforce analytics
- Utilize statistical tools and data visualization software to interpret complex datasets
- Partner with stakeholders to address business challenges through data-driven solutions
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement of Finalists compensation
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations across various jurisdictions
- Coordinate with the finance department to reconcile payroll accounts and support financial audits
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll operations and implement best practices
