Summary
Join Docker's remote-first team as a Global People Partner and play a key role in shaping our company culture and people strategies. You will work closely with executive leadership and employees to provide strategic HR guidance, support talent management, and enhance employee engagement. Key responsibilities include strategic partnership with senior leadership on HR matters, talent management and development, employee relations, championing DEI initiatives, team alignment, data analysis, program design and management, corporate program implementation, change management, and international leadership. You will foster a positive and inclusive work environment, ensuring alignment with business goals. This role requires strong HR experience, particularly within technology companies, and demonstrated success in partnering with executive leadership. Requirements
- Minimum 8 years HR related work experience, preferably with a technology company, with strong experience partnering with leadership teams to align HR goals with organizational goals
- Experience supporting customer facing organizations such as Sales, Customer Support, Marketing as well as G&A
- Experience working with global organizations in the Americas, Europe and APAC
- Demonstrated success partnering with executive level leadership on business issues that impact the organization
- Experience mentoring and leading junior to mid-level team members in delivering results and career growth
- Experience working for a company as a remote employee
- Demonstrated program management and planning skills for group wide initiatives and changes
- Exceptional full cycle HR knowledge and experience
- Proven Ability to design and implement people practices that drive engagement and performance across the organization
- Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated success in driving HR initiatives that contribute to business goals
- Excellent teamwork and adaptability skills in a fast-growing environment, while maintaining consistency and attention to detail

Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic consultant to senior leadership on all things related to HR, including organizational design, workforce planning, and leadership development
- In partnership with the People Team and other internal functions, ensure alignment and collaboration for your assigned client groups
- Participate in performance management, and employee development programs
- Implement strategies to retain, and develop top talent and drive the development of a high performing organization
- Keep senior leadership abreast of areas within their organizations which may require attention and action on a proactive basis
- Serve as the primary contact for employee relations issues in your client groups
- Foster a positive work environment by resolving conflicts, addressing grievances, and ensuring fair treatment
- Champion DEI initiatives to cultivate an inclusive culture where diverse perspectives are valued and reflected at all levels of the company
- Prepare and share metrics with your Client group executives to identify areas of opportunity for growth in their teams
- Ensure the People Team and Talent Acquisition team members partnering with your client groups are aligned and informed to provide best in class service to your assigned client groups
- Provide guidance, growth and feedback to your assigned People Partner and mentor them in their career growth
- Manage assignment to ensure successful completion within your team
- Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to inform decision-making, track progress against HR objectives, and identify areas for improvement across the business
- Share team metrics with the leaders to develop action plans for improvement and growth
- Create program and communications plans as needed for your client groups for organization changes, business, shifts, compensation changes and other important business issues
- Ensure the plans including timing, key related functions and messaging is all aligned and executed against the plan with client group leadership
- Lead the roll out of corporate programs and initiatives within your client group ensuring proper education and support to execute on time and with quality
- Support the organization through changes by providing guidance on change management strategies, communication plans, and training programs
- Provide guidance and counsel to team mates and leaders on cultural norms and legal requirements in international regions
- Ensure communications are available to employees in all parts of the globe and have access to resources for growth and support
- Partner with internal and external resources to ensure compliance and a respectful environment for all employees
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and manipulate large data sets in Excel and Google spreadsheets preferred
- Strong understanding of using HR metrics to drive organizational performance
- Experience collaborating with peers to ensure consistent approach and communication on employment matters and programs
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and other standard HR tools
