Physician Success Specialist

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience
• Preferred Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who has worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Requires a two-year college degree, or job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program
• Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare data management systems
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and standards, such as HIPAA and CMS
• Able to work independently and proactively with good judgement
• Customer experience obsessed with professional acumen and presence

Responsibilities

• Creation of physician profiles, pathways/protocols, and overall clinical support of escalations
• Outreach to identify and implement physician/surgeon rehabilitation preferences
• Support Pathways process from implementation through go-live
• Monitor and report on pathways adherence and clinical outcomes
• Pathways administration, which includes pathway assignments, ongoing notes, dashboard utilization, etc
• Engages in customer-facing communications and care coordination with multiple stakeholders (patients, therapists, physicians)
