Summary

Join MWResource as a PL/SQL Developer for a 24-month contract opportunity! This remote position involves working with a team on a large-scale Electricity Market Management System (MMS). You will contribute to the design, development, testing, integration, and tuning of the application software. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience with Oracle 19 development, PL/SQL, and SQL, along with a strong understanding of security principles and agile methodologies. A Bachelor's degree in STEM and at least eight years of relevant experience are required. MWResource offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in “STEM” major (Science, Technology, Engineering & MATH) from an accredited university or college
• Have a minimum of four (8) years of experience in Oracle 19 development in an on-prem or cloud-based enterprise environment
• Have hands-on experience with PL/SQL development including triggers, types, procedures, functions
• Be expert on writing and modifying extremely complex SQL queries
• Possess strong knowledge of Oracle Advanced Queues, Oracle Job Scheduler
• Possess strong knowledge of programming changes needed for RAC vs non-RAC implementations
• Have prior work experience in an agile environment and experience with DevOps
• Have experience with 'Security by Design' and the 10 security principles (Defense in depth, Secure by default, Least privilege, Separation of duties, Minimize attack surface, complete mediation, open design, isolated compartments, Evidence production, and Application coding best practices)
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a team of 8-15 people responsible for enhancing, evolving, and supporting large, highly available Electricity Market Management System (MMS)
• Contribute and lead advanced development in MMS Application software design, development, testing, integration and tuning to meet project and/or product commitments
