The job is for a remote PL SQL Developer with 5 years of strong working experience in Oracle database, PL/SQL and SQL, and 4 years of experience in translating functional requirements into application code. Good communication skills are required.
Requirements
- Professional experience working with Web based applications using Oracle as the backend is required
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL programming
- Strong designing, development, and troubleshooting skills required
- Knowledge of object-oriented design concepts, XML, HTML, unix scripting, web scripting tools, Gitlab and CI/CD
- Knowledge of scheduling, data exchange interfaces, data analysis and troubleshooting of issues required
- Working experience with data security, data auditing, vulnerability scanning and report generation
- Good oral and written communication skills are required
- Applicants must have strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously including off hours support as required
- Candidate should be able to translate functional requirement, build relational model and transfer relational model into technical design and- application code
Responsibilities
- Develop and incorporate business processes to enhance systems
- Write and modify pl/sql code based on requirement, enhancement and production support with specific emphasis on the development and changes related to data bound queries, sql tuning, pl/sql enhancements to get improved performance
- Develop data interfaces, data transfer, relational diagrams, scheduling and application code
- Collaborate development activities with other team members
- Create technical specification and other documents as required
- Provide emergency release and production support
- Analyze and write data exchange interfaces, job scheduling
- Identify issues with the application data, analyze and apply fixes
- Support change management including test steps; code changes to build the knowledge base
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Web Toolkit, Web services development and file handling, GitLab and CI/CD Desired 2 Years
