Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited University; Chemical Engineering degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of related experience and or training
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of Database and Project Management software, Mechanical, P&ID, and Electrical engineering design and concepts
  • Solid experience with AutoCAD Design software. P&ID experience is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervision and management of site operators
  • Troubleshoot and resolve the operational problems that arise
  • Oversee third-party contractors who occasionally come to the site for major repairs and maintenance
  • Manage and follow the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including but not limited to LOTO, Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), work permits, and Management of Change (MOC) program
  • Provide and support the compliance and regulatory departments with site and pipeline data and activities that occur on a regular basis
  • Evaluate site data to ensure compliance with programs and compliance such as LCFS, RINs Verification, TCEQ, EPA, RRC, and other entities requirements are met
  • Reviews and checks engineering deliverables of 3rd party process engineers to determine accuracy and completeness while also reviewing for constructability and operability
  • Assist in design reviews and evaluate potential design changes through the MOC program to ensure safe and effective changes are executed
  • Determine and implement any federal, state and local requirements necessary for construction and operational activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies
  • Occasional traveling to various project sites to assist in major O&M activities
