Platform Engineering Intern

Summary

Join Netskope's platform engineering team as an intern and contribute to a high-impact cloud security product. You will work remotely in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating with experts to solve challenging security problems. This internship offers opportunities to develop innovative solutions using cutting-edge technologies like Golang, Scala, Python, and Kubernetes. You'll improve detection, prioritization, and remediation of security threats using machine learning and AI. The internship is open to US-based students in their senior year of a cybersecurity-related Bachelor's degree program, graduating between May 2025 and December 2025. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership and academic excellence.

Requirements

• Experience with modern cloud and virtualization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, KVM, OpenNebula, OpenStack or any orchestration platforms)
• Strong interpersonal communication skills (including listening, speaking, and writing) and ability to work well in a diverse, team-focused environment with other SREs, developers, Product Managers, etc
• Must be US based
• Must be enrolled in the senior year of their Bachelor's degree program aligned to cyber security industry, i.e. SIOPs (Security Intelligence), Computer Networking, Infrastructure, Cyber, Computer Science, Information Technology
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Enrollment in Engineering ​ (or similar) Program : You must be currently enrolled in your university's Bachelor's engineering / or cyber security related program
• Target Graduation Date : Your expected graduation date should be between May 2025 and December 2025
• Leadership and Academic Excellence : Applicants should demonstrate strong leadership qualities on campus, as well as a track record of academic success
• Eligibility for Internship During Academic Year : Your university must allow you to participate in internships that occur during the academic year, particularly in the Spring session
