Summary

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on platform or SaaS products
  • Proven experience in developing features for mid-market or larger enterprises, especially those with complex operational needs
  • Strong understanding of Property Management Systems (PMS) and their role within the hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, and platform scalability best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to executing product roadmaps
  • Analytical skills with experience using data to inform product decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA is a plus
  • Experience with enterprise-scale property management solutions or software
  • Knowledge of trends and challenges in the hospitality industry, particularly in mid-market and large property segments
  • Familiarity with Agile product management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

Responsibilities

  • Drive the roadmap and development of features designed to meet the complex needs of mid-sized and large properties
  • Conduct market research and gather customer insights to define and prioritize features that maximize value for property managers and owners
  • Manage the calculation and application of taxes, fees, and financial elements across diverse booking scenarios, including rate plans, packages, group bookings, and corporate reservations
  • Understand and optimize the entire booking lifecycle, from rate plan setup, items, and services to taxes, fees, deposits, and ledger management
  • Ensure the Property Management System delivers scalable, accurate, and efficient solutions that can adapt to the needs of growing and diverse customer bases
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize platform performance and address technical challenges
  • Work closely with property managers, owners, and operations teams to gather feedback and translate their needs into actionable product requirements
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and objectives
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams to deliver features on time and within scope
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to articulate the value and functionality of platform enhancements
  • Define success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of new features and overall platform health
  • Use data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement of the platform

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working directly in the hospitality industry, preferably in a back-office, accounting and revenue management capacity for mid-market or larger hotels or chains
