Summary
Join Second Front Systems (2F) as a Product Manager to lead the Game Warden platform. You will define the product vision, drive deployments and international expansion, balance innovation with delivery, and understand global government and defense environments. Collaborate with various teams, gather market insights, measure and optimize platform performance, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. This role requires managing platform products in a B2B SaaS environment and understanding of APIs, SDKs, and cloud environments. The position demands a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment. U.S. citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 3 years managing platform products in a B2B SaaS environment
- Understanding of APIs, SDKs, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Prior experience building or managing products for air-gapped, low-connectivity, or highly secure networks such as on-premises government systems or secure defense networks
- A self-starter with a proactive mindset who isn't afraid to take initiative and suggest improvements
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non technical stakeholders; translating complex technical information into clear business terms for stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment
- Intimacy driving projects from inception to execution in an ambiguous environment with a lean and incremental approach
Responsibilities
- Own the Game Warden platform end-to-end: Define and champion the product vision and strategy solely for the Game Warden platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our software providers and government customers, both domestically and internationally
- Drive deployments and international expansion: Collaborate with Mission Success Team, and GPS to develop the product strategy for Game Warden's deployment capabilities across a multitude of complex environments, including U.S. government networks, classified systems, and expanding international defense and allied environments
- Your focus will be on making these deployments secure, efficient, and repeatable across AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Azure
- Balance innovation with delivery: Strategically prioritize and manage the Platform roadmap, ensuring a thoughtful balance between developing new platform features and improvements and delivering on specific contractual obligations and customer-driven requirements
- Understand global government and defense environments: Gain a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of deploying and maintaining software in diverse government environments, including classified networks, air-gapped systems, and various cloud deployments (e.g., AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, GCP Public Sector, international government clouds)
- Collaborate across the ecosystem: Partner with other pms, engineering, security, sales, and customer success teams to ensure Game Warden effectively serves both our software customers and their government end-users around the globe
- Gather and analyze market insights: Conduct market research and engage directly with customers and stakeholders to identify unmet needs, define clear product requirements, and prioritize initiatives that deliver maximum value for the Platform
- Measure and optimize: Monitor key performance indicators, analyze platform usage, and gather feedback to continuously improve the platformβs performance, security, and user experience
- Communicate with impact: Articulate complex technical and compliance concepts clearly to diverse audiences, from technical teams to senior leadership and external partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or Cloud Security
- Strong interest in matters of national security
- Exposure with Agile Development methodologies
- Prior experience managing products in regulated industries such as government, defense, healthcare, or financial services
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, HIPAA, etc.)
