Political Associate

Summary

Join GoodParty.org as a Political Associate and help local and state candidates win their elections using our AI-powered tools. This remote contract role requires at least three years of campaign experience in a senior role, strong data analysis skills, and exceptional interpersonal abilities. You will support candidates in utilizing GoodParty.org's AI Campaign Manager, build relationships, analyze voter data, execute voter contact campaigns, and collaborate with the product team. The role offers flexible hours (30-40+ per hour) and competitive pay ($34-$44 per hour). GoodParty.org empowers Independents to run for office and is making a significant impact on local elections.

Requirements

• Have at least three years of campaign experience, with at least one election cycle in a senior campaign role (ie: Campaign Manager, Political Director, Field Director,Communications Director, Digital Director or Finance Director)
• Have a track record of working on successful candidate campaigns
• Understand the numbers and can translate complex data into actionable insights about how campaigns are performing
• Make excellent use of systems to keep everything organized and speed up your work, including CRMs, AI tools, data tracking, and reporting tools
• Be effective using spreadsheets (Excel, Google Suite, etc)
• Have worked with a voter file in the past and built path to victory models for campaigns
• Have exceptional interpersonal skills with a knack for building and maintaining relationships
• Be tangibly using ChatGPT or other AI tools professionally. Be capable of translating your political experience into feedback for enhancing the product experience
• Be adaptable to the changing nature of campaigns and enjoy creating and trying new tactics

Responsibilities

• Remotely support candidates in understanding and utilizing GoodParty.org’s AI Campaign Manager to its fullest potential
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, offering personalized support and strategic advice
• Analyze elections and voter data to generate insights that inform campaign strategies and decisions
• Support candidates in executing their voter contact campaigns (ie: peer-to-peer text messaging, targeted door-knocking, robocalling)
• Contribute to online candidate communities (e.g. Discord) so GoodParty.org’s offerings are engaging and useful
• Collaborate with the product team to continuously improve our tools, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of political campaigns. Assist in enhancing and improving AI prompts and generative candidate content
• Provide comprehensive customer success services to ensure candidates' satisfaction and success

Preferred Qualifications

• Have used tools in our stack – Discord, Hubspot, Scale to Win, Ecanvasser, ChatGPT and other generative AI tools
• Have experience with the latest in political campaign technology
