Join TECKpert as a Power BI Developer supporting a government agency in Tallahassee, Florida! This full-time contract position offers competitive pay up to $52/hour or $108,000 annually, with potential for extension. You will design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports, create DAX formulas, develop data models, and integrate data from various sources. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, 5+ years of Power BI development experience, and strong data visualization skills. Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Have 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, DAX, and data modeling
• Demonstrate proven expertise in data visualization, report design, and dashboard creation
• Show a strong understanding of data integration techniques and tools
• Be proficient in optimizing Power BI performance and handling complex datasets
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Hold certifications in Microsoft Power BI, Dynamics 365, or related technologies
• Have experience with data governance frameworks and performance optimization strategies

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights
• Create and optimize DAX formulas for advanced calculations and data manipulation
• Develop data models ensuring efficient data retrieval and analysis
• Integrate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs
• Implement data security and governance protocols to safeguard sensitive information
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements and deliver solutions
• Validate and cleanse data to maintain data accuracy and integrity
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data connections and report performance
