Requirements

  • Minimum of four (4) years of development experience with Power BI
  • Solid foundation with Power BI Report Builder
  • Databricks basic knowledge (SQL or Python)
  • Previous experience working with ETL methodologies (Databricks, Prophecy ETL)
  • Solid foundation in BI and Data Analytics, SQL, etc
  • English proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design/development of Power BI Dashboards
  • Work with business client to determine reporting requirements. Ensure business rules are accurately captured
  • Create unit test conditions, scripts, and data for Power BI
  • Build and test Power BI reports with Databricks based data according to design and IT performance standards
  • Resolve report issues identified by the test team during integration test and by the client during customer acceptance test
  • Transition code to maintenance team after production release
  • Update and maintain report documents (eg: report designs)
  • Communicate status of tasks to project lead/manager. Alert project lead/manager of potential issues and risks
