Premium Insurance Auditor

Summary

Join Lowry, a ReSource Pro Company, as a part-time, remote Auditor conducting virtual audits on Workers' Compensation and General Liability policies. You will gather data from insured businesses, schedule and collect audit documents, conduct remote interviews, and analyze financial records to create comprehensive audit reports. Success requires experience in workers' compensation or general liability audits, quality customer service, bookkeeping/accounting, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of WCIRB, NCCI, and ISO guidelines is essential. The position offers a competitive hourly rate ($16-$32) plus bonus eligibility and benefits. Requirements

• Previous experience conducting workers compensation or general liability audits
• Demonstrated ability to perform quality customer service
• Bookkeeping and/or Accounting experience
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of WCIRB, NCCI and ISO guidelines for classification of businesses and employees so as to meet quality standards set forth by California state and the client
• General accounting skills
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated and self-disciplined
• Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to conduct business professionally and positively with third party business owners
• Ability to take feedback positively and make corrections and changes to improve

Responsibilities

• Gather data from insured’s place of business to be reported to carrier which will determine accurate premium base for policy
• Digitally schedule and collect audit documents from insured parties
• Conduct remote audit interviews via phone to gather necessary information
• Analyze financial records to create comprehensive audit reports for insurance carriers
• Manage personal workload and inventory to ensure efficient and timely completion of audits
• Demonstrate flexibility to adjust to new situations and changing priorities
• Ensure return rates and turnaround time of audits are met

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with Nexus or Future Audit software
