Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or technical consulting in customer-facing roles
  • 3+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, applications, and networking
  • Experience working with a team of Data Engineering consultants
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
  • Demonstrated technical experience in Cloud, Big Data technologies and environments: SQL, Data Warehouses, Data quality, BI tools, Hadoop, Python and Azure, AWS, Google
  • Expert-level presentation, customer service, financial/business acumen, and negotiation skills at all levels of customer engagement
  • Advanced understanding in learning new technical subject matter
  • Excellent Spoken English Skills with persuasive communication abilities

Responsibilities

  • Advocate our products and solutions to existing customers and prospects
  • Drive and promote the value of solutions for customer business challenges – create, articulate and sustain value
  • Understand customer data and analytics challenges and help translate to business requirements in positioning software and services
  • Determines customer business and technical requirements in advance and performs regular off-site/on-site meetings
  • Comprehension of rapidly evolving competitive technologies and how they compare/contrast or complement our offerings
  • Communicate customer-specific value of solutions and how they integrate with the customer’s analytical ecosystem as part of a future-state roadmap
  • Work with teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections and develop the strategy to resolve technical blockers
  • Delivers and customizes technical presentations and demonstrations
  • Regular customer visits, travel to conferences and other relevant events as required
  • Advise strategies on integration, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure requisite to implement a complete successfully
  • Provides value-based, technical support throughout the sales cycle to drive opportunities
