Pricing Analyst

Summary

The job is for a Pricing Analyst at Paddle's Price Intelligently team who will work directly with clients to understand their challenges, immerse in data, identify insights, and craft recommendations to drive growth. The role involves critical thinking, creativity, market research, data cleaning, in-depth analysis, project execution, and improving the pricing offering.

Requirements

• Have experience with market research, data cleaning, and/or performing in-depth data analyses
• Love working with data in Excel and perhaps have knowledge of tools and languages like Python, SQL, etc
• Are proactive in problem-solving and comfortable completing tasks with significant ambiguity
• Enjoy all aspects of strategy development, from experimental design to client presentation
• Have prior data analysis experience in a professional capacity, preferably in technology, SaaS, consulting, financial services, investment banking, private equity, or other industries requiring critical and strategic thinking
• Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience

Responsibilities

• Use critical thinking and creativity to devise strategic recommendations for clients
• Design and build market research surveys
• Clean data from disparate sources, including data wrangling and in-depth analysis
• Present data-driven recommendations to C-suite and Senior Executives at a client organization
• Drive project execution, including communicating with internal and external key stakeholders about project statuses
• Serve as a product owner, taking initiative to drive improvements from the front line

Preferred Qualifications

Interested in limited travel for client meetings (~5% of time)
