Summary

Join Atmosera, a leading Microsoft Partner, as a Principal/Architectural Consultant specializing in designing and delivering enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role demands deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and client-facing skills. You will guide development teams, lead architecture and design sessions, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. Responsibilities include architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on Azure, defining cloud-native architectures, and leading proof-of-concept initiatives. Client engagement involves acting as a senior technical advisor and translating complex technical topics into business-relevant language. You will also champion DevOps and automation practices and stay up-to-date with emerging Azure technologies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and delivery
  • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure
  • Deep knowledge of C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET , Web APIs, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Blazor, or similar)
  • Strong experience with Azure services: App Services, Functions, AKS, Event Grid, Service Bus, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Entra ID
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills
  • Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong client-facing consulting experience
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional and distributed teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Continuous learner with a passion for emerging technologies

Responsibilities

  • Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on Microsoft Azure across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services
  • Define cloud-native architectures, including microservices, serverless, event-driven, and container-based designs
  • Design end-to-end solutions integrating applications, APIs, data platforms, and identity & access controls
  • Provide hands-on leadership to development teams, offering guidance on engineering best practices, coding standards, and design patterns
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and test automation efforts
  • Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives and technical spikes to validate new approaches and technologies
  • Act as a senior technical advisor in client meetings, workshops, and architecture reviews
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear, business-relevant language for stakeholders
  • Build strong client relationships and contribute to the success of consulting engagements
  • Architect CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools
  • Champion infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates
  • Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and compliance into delivery pipelines
  • Stay up to date with Azure’s latest releases, AI/ML services, Microsoft Fabric, Azure OpenAI, container services (AKS), and cloud-native patterns
  • Provide guidance on when and how to adopt emerging technologies to drive client innovation
  • Mentor and upskill junior architects, developers, and consultants
  • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams on proposals, estimates, and project planning
  • Contribute to internal accelerators, templates, and frameworks to enhance delivery capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI/ML integration using Azure Cognitive Services or Azure OpenAI is a plus
