Summary

Join Appfire's Asia-Pacific team as a Channel Manager and drive business growth through our partner network. You will develop and nurture relationships with top Atlassian partners, recruit new partners, improve partner programs, and contribute to strategic goals. This remote role, based in Australia, requires deep Atlassian product knowledge and 5+ years of channel business experience. You will collaborate with the Channel, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver solutions and represent Appfire. The position involves accelerating partner growth, developing recruitment plans, improving partner programs, and actively contributing to strategic goals. You will also mentor other channel managers and grow Appfire's presence within solution partners.

Requirements

  • You are based in Australia with easy access to international travel hubs
  • Deep knowledge of Atlassian’s core product offering, the Atlassian Marketplace, and the Atlassian Partner Ecosystem
  • You have 5+ years direct experience operating in a partner/channel/alliance business model, with a deep understanding of both the challenges and opportunities of an indirect selling motion
  • You have the ability to recognize potential in untapped opportunities, and develop that talent through relationship building, enablement and training
  • You are a highly motivated person with a background in the software industry and may have also worked in consultancy/services organizations
  • You understand the complexities of working with small and large partners, each with its own culture, challenges, and opportunities
  • You have worked with enterprise accounts but you're also an all-rounder who can actively contribute to local marketing and community activities

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate and grow our partner base, with a focus on top level Atlassian Partners across all of our program tiers
  • Take a leading role in developing plans to identify and recruit new Partners to the Appfire Partner Program
  • Work directly with our Programs team on plans for improving/refining current Partner Program initiatives and processes
  • Take an active role in delivering on strategic goals established by Appfire’s leadership team
  • Work with Channel Management leadership to help mentor and develop other channel managers on the team
  • Grow the presence and share of Appfire technologies within our solution partners, corporate resellers, and larger system integrators
  • Demonstrate the business opportunity of selling “Appfire” and our solutions offerings
  • Attend field marketing events and trade shows
  • Present/speak to partners and groups at internal and external events
  • Be an internal advocate for your partners, and an external advocate for Appfire
