Principal Strategist

Summary

Join Caylent, a cloud native services company, as a Principal Strategist, Media and Entertainment to define and implement the go-to-market strategy for Media and Entertainment. Your role will be to craft and sustain our Media and Entertainment GTM strategy, collaborate with sellers, maintain alignment with Technical Practices, lead strategic engagements, enable internal teams, populate libraries with Media & Entertainment-specific materials, capture and disseminate wins and success stories within the Media & Entertainment vertical.

Requirements

• 10+ years of consulting experience in cloud and digital transformation, specifically within the Media and Entertainment industry
• Proven track record of developing and implementing GTM strategies focused on media transformation
• Strong understanding of the evolving media landscape, including streaming, digital distribution, and content management
• Demonstrated ability to lead strategic engagements with key clients, fostering high-value relationships
• Experience in guiding Media and Entertainment organizations through significant digital and platform transformations
• Highly collaborative, adaptable to a fast-paced changing environment
• Expertise in public cloud infrastructure and services, preferably AWS
• Willingness to travel for customer and AWS meetings

Responsibilities

• Craft and sustain our Media and Entertainment GTM strategy, focusing on transitioning clients from legacy systems to modern, digital-first platforms
• Collaborate with sellers to effectively bring the GTM strategy to AWS and our clients, targeting the acquisition of new strategic customers in Media and Entertainment
• Maintain alignment with Technical Practices to ensure a holistic approach that addresses both market positioning and technical capabilities
• Lead strategic engagements for key Media & Entertainment clients, providing expert insights at critical points to guide strategy and maximize success
• Support other delivery resources and Engagement Leaders in navigating the unique challenges of the Media & Entertainment industry
• Enable internal teams, including Account Executives, Customer Success Associates, Principal Consultants, and Delivery personnel with Media & Entertainment knowledge, in collaboration with AWS
• Populate libraries with Media & Entertainment-specific materials that align with Caylent’s frameworks
• Capture and disseminate wins and success stories within the Media & Entertainment vertical to foster a culture of learning and achievement
