Principal Systems Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, or related field, plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer or in a related position
• Experience must include Spring boot, Apache Camel, SQL, Microservices, Angular, C, CSS, ReactJS, Oracle Service Bus (OSB), Mongo DB

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess the existing architecture and design of the IT corporate Applications Portfolio
• Provide input on addressing challenges and evolve the revised architecture and design by addressing gaps and challenges within systems applications
• Review, document, and publish architecture, interfaces, and design documents of the IT Corporate Applications Portfolio based on sessions with IT and Business partners and existing artifacts
• Define appropriate Business and IT Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Objectives and Key Results (OKR) at various levels in collaboration with the Business Partners
• Translate business requirements to software specifications and requirements and publish detailed design in key and select areas as needed
• Lay out high-level systems design and specifications in an ecosystem involving ERP systems, database cloud, and web-based applications
• Coordinate and drive delivery across IT and Business partners in a multi-vendor environment through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Participate in all areas of the SDLC, including troubleshooting, debugging, verification and testing, production monitoring, and performance analysis
