This fully remote, 6-month freelance contract (with potential extension) based in the Americas, North America, starts June 2025 and requires UK timezone availability. Lakshya Digital is a leading game art service provider with contributions to numerous AAA titles. The role demands extensive narrative design experience, Unreal Engine and dialogue system proficiency, and strong communication skills. You will write compelling dialogue, mentor other writers, and collaborate across disciplines. The position offers a remote work arrangement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a narrative designer, writing and implementing dialogue to support the player journey
• Strong knowledge of Unreal and experience with dialogue systems
• Ability to write and edit compelling dialogue for characters, missions, and cinematics
• Experience guiding and mentoring other writers to ensure quality and consistency
• Familiarity with building and maintaining narrative design documentation
• Strong understanding of non-linear narrative structures and systems
• Skilled at aligning story beats with gameplay and level design
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, collaborative, and able to work across disciplines
