Privacy Operations Analyst

Summary

As a remote employee collaborating with privacy experts and internal partners, you will enhance privacy operations and drive program progress. You will be responsible for handling complex data subject requests, integrating AI-driven solutions, and optimizing privacy controls. The role also involves providing privacy advice, coordinating regulatory responses, reviewing due diligence from third-party providers, and maintaining privacy documentation. This position requires strong analytical skills, initiative, and collaboration within a fast-paced environment. The role reports to the Global Privacy & AI Officer and requires partial overlap with European time zones.
Requirements
- 2+ years of operational privacy experience, including advising on data subject rights and implementing scalable processes
- Experience supporting a privacy function in a tech or financial services company
- Experience advising on the GDPR and general knowledge of other key privacy frameworks (e.g., CCPA, PIPEDA)
- Experience designing dashboards, metrics, and project trackers that surface key insights and drive visibility, alignment, and accountability
- Experience with well-known knowledge base, task tracking, or data visualization tools
- Experience in optimizing policies and procedures to demonstrate compliance with various external compliance frameworks
- Ability to write and speak clearly and concisely in English
Responsibilities
- Support the escalation and resolution of complex data subjects rights requests, including access and deletion requests, Do Not Sell / Share requests, opt-outs, the right to an explanation and general information requests
- Take ownership of key parts of our tech integration efforts, including AI-driven solutions, to strengthen and scale our privacy operations
- Help drive operational excellence in privacy by shaping preventative, detective, and corrective controls - from automated SLA tracking to robust DSR response processes
- Offer practical privacy advice to our business partners and support the writing of Privacy Impact Assessments
- Support the privacy team in coordinating responses to regulatory inquiries and managing data subject complaints with rigor and consistency
- Review due diligence responses from data processors and other third party service providers
- Assist in writing and updating policies, procedures, and templates for responding to requests about client data and/or our data protection practices
- Maintain our library of privacy impact assessments, records of processing activities, and privacy guidance documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Law degree or computer science degree
- Experience working with auditors and regulators
- CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E or CIPP certification
- Experience working with Slack, Zendesk, JIRA, and/or a Privacy program management software (e.g. OneTrust)
