Privacy Specialist

Summary

Join Booksy as a Privacy Specialist and contribute to a rapidly growing company. Reporting to the Privacy Team Manager, you will handle privacy-related requests, ensure GDPR compliance, and collaborate with various teams to protect user data. Your responsibilities include managing Subject Data Requests, identifying privacy risks, improving privacy tools, and maintaining documentation. This fully remote position requires at least two years of experience in privacy and data protection, strong GDPR knowledge, and fluency in English and Polish. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in privacy and data protection, with a strong understanding of GDPR
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service within a SaaS, Marketplace, or tech solutions company, focused on privacy management
• Fluency in English and Polish (written and spoken)
• Strong knowledge of GDPR regulations and Subject Data Requests (DSR)
• Understanding of international privacy regulations beyond GDPR (e.g., CCPA)

Responsibilities

• Handle Subject Data Requests (DSR) from clients and authorities
• Conduct quality checks on GDPR-related processes
• Assist in optimizing and enforcing privacy procedures to ensure compliance
• Proactively identify privacy risks and compliance gaps
• Support in managing data breach events
• Propose solutions to mitigate potential issues
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Service, Operations, Product) to ensure privacy standards are met
• Contribute to improving privacy tools and workflows
• Maintain proper documentation and archiving of privacy-related information
• Provide support and advice to leadership on key privacy matters

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish
• Familiarity with cookies privacy management tools
• Familiarity with systems like Salesforce or Zowie
