Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering or Science related field
- 5 years of procurement experience in the CPG industry, ideally with exposure to cleaning, household, or personal care products
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of regulatory and environmental considerations for cleaning chemicals and packaging
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw materials, including ingredients, and packaging
- Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers, mitigate risks, and uncover cost-saving opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure optimal value
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and scorecards
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service standards
- Collaborate with R&D and Operations on value engineering projects and alternative sourcing
- Partner with Supply Planning to align purchasing with demand forecasts and production schedules
- Ensure all sourcing activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations, ethical sourcing, and environmental and sustainability goals
- Work closely with Quality, Regulatory, R&D, and Marketing teams on product launches and reformulations
