Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, contract negotiation, and supplier management
  • Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process optimization and cost savings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing high-performance teams
  • A strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness, particularly in contract management and compliance documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Complete security & privacy literacy and awareness training during onboarding and annually thereafter
  • Review (initially and annually thereafter), understand, and adhere to Information Security/Privacy Policies and Procedures such as (but not limited to): Data Classification, Retention & Handling Policy, Incident Response Policy/Procedures, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Policy/Procedures, Mobile Device Policy, Account Management Policy, Access Control Policy, Personnel Security Policy, Privacy Policy

Responsibilities

  • Develop, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable outcomes for Saviynt
  • Identify new sources for products and services to ensure cost savings and risk management
  • Continuously assess market trends and supplier performance to recommend adjustments in sourcing strategies
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase requisition approvals, purchase orders, supplier selection, and contract management
  • Update and maintain our Procure-to-Pay policy
  • Educate all teams across our organization on our Procurement Process and use of the platform
  • Enforce our policy to ensure cost controls
  • Work closely with Finance to develop and manage procurement budgets
  • Track expenditures and savings initiatives to ensure cost efficiency
  • Work with other departments to develop projections for vendor and software renewals
  • Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
  • Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain
  • Manage procurement software, associated implementations and API connections
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master’s degree or relevant certifications (such as CPM or CPSM)
  • Experience in the technology or software industry
  • Familiarity with contract management software and vendor evaluation tools
