Procurement Manager

Summary

Join Outreach as a Procurement Manager and contribute to our Finance organization. This remote US-based role focuses on the Source to Contract process, including vendor management, onboarding, renewals, and invoice payment. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including AP, legal, and FP&A. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Success in this role demands effective execution and people management skills. The ideal candidate possesses 5-10 years of procurement experience, preferably in a SaaS company, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in Procurement functions, preferably in a high-growth SaaS company
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of AP and basic Procurement procedures
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English
• Ability to work independently and manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units

Responsibilities

• Assisting internal business owners with approach to and recommendations for vendor negotiations
• Assisting internal business owners with various Procurement functions, including requests for purchase requisitions, change orders for purchase orders
• Development and management of vendor renewal tracking
• Interaction with source to pay stakeholders, including prioritization of vendor-relate requests, managing exceptions to process/normal timeline
• Review AP aging with AP manager and help to ensure upstream source to pay issues are not gating the timely payment of invoices
• Ensuring timely payment of all invoices and check requests in accordance with vendor terms and payment schedule
• Develop training materials and procedure documentation for business owners to effectively contribute to the source to pay proess
• Assist with training key stakeholders in source to pay process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, ZipHQ or other vendor management software
• Experience with vendor contract negotiations
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, accounting, finance or related fields
• Desire to develop leadership and technical skills; pursue advancement opportunities within the Company
• Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented
