Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree and at least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain roles
- Strong understanding of purchase order management, logistics coordination, and supplier relations
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and external vendors
- Proven ability to optimize purchasing processes and coordinate efficient delivery schedules
- Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in procurement and logistics, with a focus on improving operational efficiency
- Experience in managing supplier performance and resolving delivery or order-related issues
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers
- Based in the Porto Metropolitan Area or nearby
- Possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end purchase order (PO) process, from requisition to delivery
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
- Work with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies related to POs, shipments, or deliveries
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders to align with production and demand forecasts
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding procurement and supplier management
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance
- Assist in optimizing procurement processes by leveraging digital tools and analytics
- Collaborate with the Logistics and Transformation team to streamline supply chain operations and identify cost-saving opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading process improvement initiatives within procurement or logistics environments, especially in high-volume operations
- Strong knowledge of digital tools and technologies in procurement and supply chain management, such as inventory management software, ERP systems, or logistics platforms
- Familiarity with process automation to enhance procurement efficiency and streamline purchase order workflows
