Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain roles
  • Strong understanding of purchase order management, logistics coordination, and supplier relations
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and external vendors
  • Proven ability to optimize purchasing processes and coordinate efficient delivery schedules
  • Familiarity with digital tools and platforms used in procurement and logistics, with a focus on improving operational efficiency
  • Experience in managing supplier performance and resolving delivery or order-related issues
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers
  • Based in the Porto Metropolitan Area or nearby
  • Possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end purchase order (PO) process, from requisition to delivery
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
  • Work with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies related to POs, shipments, or deliveries
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders to align with production and demand forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding procurement and supplier management
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier performance
  • Assist in optimizing procurement processes by leveraging digital tools and analytics
  • Collaborate with the Logistics and Transformation team to streamline supply chain operations and identify cost-saving opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives within procurement or logistics environments, especially in high-volume operations
  • Strong knowledge of digital tools and technologies in procurement and supply chain management, such as inventory management software, ERP systems, or logistics platforms
  • Familiarity with process automation to enhance procurement efficiency and streamline purchase order workflows
