Requirements

  • 5+ years experience working in eCommerce, Marketplace, Consumer and/or B2B SaaS
  • 1-2 years of experience in team management
  • Experience working in Product Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science
  • Forecast modeling experience and proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience with instrumentation/event tagging, including tools such as Amplitude, Heap and Adobe
  • Data driven and technically experienced enough to write your own queries; savvy enough to be able to speak to large audiences
  • Confident communicator and presenter with experience presenting

Responsibilities

  • Thought partner to product leaders and executive stakeholders
  • Mentor and coach analysts in developing impactful insights and guide stakeholders in usage of reporting and analytics
  • Create visually compelling reporting and insights that allow stakeholders to easily evaluate product or user performance relative to business objectives
  • Contribute to product roadmap and product planning processes through data-driven product research and insights
  • Collaborate with partner organizations such as Finance and Corporate Strategy in assessing revenue and growth opportunities
  • Team up with data scientists and senior intelligence leads to design and develop dimensional models and analyses, identifying and articulating insights and building narratives that move stakeholders to act on our recommendations
  • Evangelize the use of data to inform decision-making at all levels internally and externally
  • Participate in business development activities, including scope design, strategic analysis, slide preparation and work planning
  • Act as a Data strategist and subject matter expert for Product data and seamlessly navigate every layer of the Data stack to identify opportunities to solve project challenges, including being hands-on in investigating complex / large scale data sets
  • Become an expert user of our product and the analytic tools utilized to make impactful and significant data-driven decisions
  • Drive data-driven decision-making processes, advocating for the use of analytics and empirical evidence in product decision-making across the company
  • Partner closely with product teams to establish measurement tools, document and communicate measurement logic, and democratize availability of product performance data
